Even if it’s my fourth year as a teacher I have seen some changes when using the computers room. If some years ago, textbooks included CD-rom to practice the content, now they offer lots of links to complement them. For this reason, pupils are getting used to Internet as a source of resources.
I feel very lucky to have an IWB in my classroom. The presence of this tool have changed the way I present and prepare the lessons, because it allow me to use audio-visual material whenever I need it, which means kids can approach the contents in a similar way they do it at home, as long as we consider them native techies. They don’t feel the “wow effect” with the IWB because they are more than used to technology.
